RTI’s VanishPoint Safety Syringe is easy to use, requires no additional steps, and allows for single-handed activation. It requires less disposal space than other safety needles/syringes and prevents disposal-related needlestick injuries.
Automated Retraction
The needle is automatically retracted directly from the patient into the barrel of the syringe when the plunger handle is fully depressed. The pre-removal, automated retraction greatly reduces exposure to the contaminated needle, effectively reducing the risk of needlestick injury.
Low Dead Space Technology
According to a leading COVID-19 vaccine maker, using a syringe with a dead space of 35 microliters or less allows access to an additional dose from a 5-dose vial. Our VanishPoint 1mL Low Dead Space safety syringe meets that criterion, allowing for an extra dose that otherwise would be wasted. We received multiple reports from clinicians stating that they were able to draw additional doses from multi-dose vials.
