  1. Perform venipuncture, observing for blood return
  2. When blood collection is complete, depress retraction trigger.
  3. Needle automatically retracts from the patient’s vein into the device, clamping tubing.
  4. Dispose of the VanishPoint Blood Collection Set in an appropriate sharps container.
